About Us
Specializing in toys and prizes that appeal to children age 5 through 15, Funtastic Novelties offers a wide selection of trendy and basic products just for the fun of it! You’ll find all sorts of adorable inflatables, popular flashing items, necklaces, swords, handcuffs, funky sunglasses, party supplies, signs, games, jokes & tricks, fashion accessories, novelty candy, and more. All products are chosen based on quality, safety, color selection, and availability.
Kris Wall Friesner opened Funtastic Novelties, Inc. in 1993 specializing in selling toys that appeal to children from ages five through fifteen. Kris had worked in her family’s Roller Skating Facility from an early age learning the business from the ground up. For ten years, she managed a wholesale supply company. Funtastic Novelties has helped Roller Skating facilities throughout the United States and Canada bring fun and excitement into their facility. In 2014, Kris was joined by Brian Gamsby, National Sales Manager, who has brought over 15 years of experience in sales and the design Fun Shops to the Funtastic staff.
Initially, Funtastic encouraged Roller Skating Facilities throughout the country to add a novelty shop which has toys for retail sale to their operation. These new profit centers proved popular because they increased gross revenue to the facilities by up to ten percent.
These days, our customers include Roller Skating Facilities, Family Entertainment Centers, Miniature Golf Courses, Bowling Centers, Campgrounds, Arcades, Raceways, and Businesses with Novelty Shops and Reward Centers. We also provide products for Churches, Schools, Fund Raising Events, Carnivals, and more.
Our customers generate ongoing revenue because we identify “Hot” trends within targeted demographics. We pride ourselves in seeking and offering items that meet our customer’s wants and needs. We do our best to maintain our stock; filling orders on a timely basis … while the kids still want them.

We monitor available Consumer Product Safety legislation to ensure compliance, and, to the best of our knowledge, available products meet or exceed current CPSIA standards. In the unlikely event that a non-compliant item is discovered, we act swiftly in cooperation with the CPSC to notify our customers and take any action deemed appropriate by the commission.
Availability: Our fill rate is exceptional. We keep a stock of each item on hand and closely monitor inventory levels to ensure prompt delivery of customer orders.
Kris continues the Wall family tradition of more than 50 years of involvement in the skating industry by holding an annual Open House and Trade Show at our Fort Wayne facility in October which focuses on informing and educating Skating Facility Owners and Managers.
